Shield Security Service was established in 1986 and its directors and employees have many years experience within Military, Police and the Security industry. Specialising in manned security we administer all technical, operational, personnel and control functions nationwide, from our Headquarters situated in Neath, under the personal supervision of the directors.
Our main strengths are the quality of personnel selection, training and high standard of supervision/management.
Shield Security Service confirms their compliance with the code of practice for the security industry and manned guarding services through the national recognition of the BSEN 9001:2000 award for the training, vetting and continued professional development of our staff.
Training within Shield Security Service is a continuous process and it is our policy to identify skills and aptitudes and to encourage staff in the development of their careers. As a result or the policy, the majority of supervision and management positions have been filled from promotion within the company.
